Quick Tips for Spring Travel

March 29, 2021

In our opinion, there’s no better way to bid farewell to winter than with that first Spring trip in your luxury coach. But before you hit the road for a well-earned getaway, run through the quick list below to make sure you’re fully prepared for Spring travel.

Have Spring travel plans? Before you hit the road, check out the quick tips for Spring travel to make sure you are prepared for anything!

  • Check your wiper blades
Odds are you’re already planning on taking your American Coach into a REV RV Service and Repair Center for a more thorough check-up. But if you’re short on time, at least make sure you check to make sure your wiper blades are in good condition. We don’t want the usual April showers to keep you from your destination.
  • Pack for warm and cold weather
Depending on what side of Spring your travel is scheduled for, your warmer days might be bookended between much cooler mornings and nights. We recommend packing a few articles of cold weather clothing alongside your lighter clothing to guarantee 24/7 comfort.
  • Be ready for rain
As we mentioned above, even if your forecast says “blue skies and sunshine,” Spring has a funny way of dropping some rain on us when we least expect it. Pack umbrellas, rain jackets, weatherproof shoes, and whatever else you need so that you don’t get stuck outside of your luxury coach in a major storm.
  • The thrill of the grill
In between checking out some of the best-rated al fresco dining your destination has to offer, warmer weather also makes it more enjoyable to sit outside and grill up a feast of your own. Stock your luxury coach’s refrigerator with all the ingredients you need to have a four-star feast outside.
  • Check for COVID restrictions and closures
Even if you’ve been fully vaccinated before you hit the road, most public places and dining spaces have COVID restrictions in place. Do a little Googling before you go to find out what’s open, what’s closed, and what special requirements are needed to fully enjoy your Spring getaway.
