Weekend Warriors

July 28, 2023

Looking for short weekend trip ideas? Look no further! We have some fun spots for you to explore in your American Coach:

Tailgating Football Game

High School and College football games are so much fun to attend, and utilizing all the amenities of your RV makes it even more so! No need to go far for a bathroom break, refill on your beverage, or a second helping of wings. You can also watch the game from the comfort of your coach on one of its multiple TVs!

Weekend Hiking Trip

Recreational vehicles are designed with outdoor adventure in mind, and hiking is one of the best activities! Many, if not most, county parks and campgrounds can accommodate RVs on site or very nearby the hiking and biking trails. Explore the woods by day and cozy up by night in your comfy coach.

Destination Wedding

Traveling to a friend or family member’s upcoming wedding? No need to book a hotel when you’re driving along in your very own! Your Fleetwood coach is your home on the road, with all the comforts you need from a four-star hotel without paying expensive nightly rates! Also a great place to relax between the ceremony and reception while the wedding party gets photos taken.

Winery or Harvest Festival

Wineries, distilleries, and local harvest festivals are plentiful no matter where you roam! Pick a few fun ones to visit nearby and enjoy local flavors and homegrown, local delicacies.

Fall Break From School

Most schools have a long weekend in the fall built into the schedule. Take advantage of these 3- or 4-day breaks to take a quick weekend trip with the whole family.

Exploring and adventuring doesn’t have to mean a weeks’ long commitment – some of the best memories are made from quick trips like the ones above!
