Between the historic tourist attractions, Busch Gardens’ Christmas Town (through January 2), and the three-course pre-fixe New Year’s Eve dinner at the Williamsburg Inn, there’s a lot to do in the area over this holiday weekend. Nearby American Heritage RV Park offers the perfect campground option, including premium campsites with patio furniture, a fireplace, and more.

Paso Robles, CA

If you’re looking for a New Year’s Eve weekend getaway that’s heavy on the luxury, we can think of no better place to set up camp than the heart of wine country. Settle in at the stunning Cava Robles RV Resort, then make your way to any number of NYE wine dinners in the area, like this oysters and caviar soiree at Robert Hall Winery.

Lake George, NY

If you’ve done any New Year’s Eve celebration research, you’ve probably seen this breathtaking, water-rich location pop up quite a bit. While it’s easy to find some proper celebrations in town, the real draw seems to be the Polar Plunge on New Year’s Day. If you’re looking to kick off 2022 with the boldest of gestures, set up camp at one of the many nearby RV parks in advance!
