You’ve waited long enough.

With the distinctive character and determination that embodies the American spirit, you and your American Coach are poised and ready to make 2021 a breakthrough year in your journey. We’ll be offering tips and advice to make sure your coach is ready for travel and you’re ready for relaxation. By the way, got a photo of yourself relaxing? We want to see it! Before you go: An annual checkup.
The allure of travel in your American Coach can be seductive, but before you pick up and start your next adventure, now’s a great time to give your coach a thorough inspection, both inside and out. Although nowhere near a complete list, some examples of inspection points include the following:

Exterior

  • Locks and storage compartments, latches, hinges
  • Service doors, generator, hookup connections
  • Headlights and exterior illumination
  • Awnings and slide outs

Interior

  • Electrical circuits
  • Fans, vents, HVAC
  • Cabinets and compartments
  • Technology and integrated controls

Chassis

  • Tire pressures, treadwear, rubber degradation, valve stems, wheel lugs and center caps
  • Engine oil, fluid levels
  • Generator oil level, visual inspection
  • Jacks, air and braking system

Best option? Have the techs at REV RV Service & Repair centers perform regular engine maintenance and provide a thorough inspection of your American Coach. With centers in Decatur, Indiana and Coburg, Oregon, it’s absolutely worth the trip to get factory-level expertise and maintenance. And, right now through March 31, 2021, when you have them perform engine service, they’ll also include a FREE 250-hour generator maintenance, and perform their work at a reduced, off-peak rate of just $129/hour.* It’s our admittedly biased view that once you try REV RV Service & Repair centers, you’ll want to have all your work done by their team.

*Excludes collision work, May not be combined with other offers. Not valid on prior service. Other restrictions may apply.

Relax to the max.
Start 2021 off right by treating yourself with ways to help relax. Helping us do that will be some handy and effective personal gadgets that will help you chill out and enjoy this year’s travel.

Best buds.
Noise-cancelling earbuds are quite a thing for enjoying music, videos, flights and just trying to get some shut-eye. One option is the Bose QuietComfort lineup, due to its high ratings and Bose’s reputation for spacious, transparent sound. Once the domain of bulky, full-size headphones, compact noise-cancelling earbuds are lighter and much easier to manage for storage.

Deep sleep.
If deep sleep is what you crave, perhaps a white-noise generator will do the trick. There are many apps that promise soothing ocean waves, wind through the trees and straight up white-noise to calmly mask distracting outside noise at your campsite and help you get a good night’s rest.

Plant the seeds of relaxation.
One of the most relaxing things you can do to aid in relaxation as well a clean the air in your coach at the same time is adding on a hydroponic herb garden. Most kits are compact, self-contained come ready to use with full-spectrum LED light to generate rapid growth. A kit like this will have your coach smelling great and as a bonus, you can harvest the herbs and use them in your cooking!

These are just a few of the ways you can maximize your relaxation as you travel in 2021. Here’s to wishing you great (and relaxing) travels ahead!

Depending on your brand of rum, you can make it mild and smooth or spicy as you desire. This is a wonderful hot mixer when you’ve had your fill of hot chocolate and hot cocoa and are looking for something a little more fancy. The common ingredients make it easy to fix as well. Enjoy!
