Fleetwood RV Turns Up Success with Flagship Discovery Diesel

Decatur, Ind. – (September 10, 2013) – Fleetwood RV, Inc., a leading producer of Class A and Class C recreational vehicles, reports increasing success with the refresh of its flagship diesel, the Discovery.
With more than 12,000 coaches on the road today, the Discovery brand continues to set trends with its distinct design and innovative features that set it apart from other diesels. Resulting from the recent launch of the Discovery 40E model, the brand is experiencing increased demand and a reported 30% sales increase in comparison to last year.
“The Discovery brand has been a trendsetter within the Class A diesel category since 1996,” states Kyle McCrary, Senior Vice President, Product Planning & Design at Fleetwood RV, Inc. “The new 40E floorplan combined with the many added amenities and the complete re-styling for 2014, set the stage for Fleetwood to achieve additional growth in the diesel category.”
Discovery enthusiasts will immediately notice the new front and rear caps featured on the 2014 model; both have been redesigned and employ LED accent and running lights.
Once inside, your attention immediately focuses on the massive 24x24 high gloss porcelain tile hand-laid in a diamond-patterned throughout the coach. Another added upgrade for 2014 is the brand-new dashboard and automotive cockpit design featuring soft-touch materials and integrated burl wood accents.
Great for entertaining, the full-wall slide Discovery 40E features a spacious galley design, an over-the-top pantry with a swing-out shelving unit, exquisite hardwood valances and trim, glass tile backsplash and enough countertop space for an impressive party spread. With contemporary interior décor throughout, this RV features two incliners plus a residential style L-shaped sofa which transforms into a queen bed.
In the living area, an impressively engineered credenza equipped with TV slide showcases the Sony 46" LED TV. With the touch of a button, the TV elevates out from the slide for a perfect viewing angle.
The Discovery’s residential-like bedroom features a king bed plus ample His-and-Her mirrored wardrobe storage, and voluminous linen and storage space. The full-size bathroom includes an oversized fiberglass shower with shower seat, and guests will enjoy using the half-bath located at mid-coach.
