A lifetime of service. Decades of American Coach.
He’s seen the world from a P-47 bomber and our nation’s countryside from the driver’s seat of eight American Coach RVs. LeRoy Manor, a retired three-star general and veteran of both World War II and Vietnam, recently purchased his sixth new American Eagle and has also owned two American Dreams.
Manor flew 72 combat missions, including the Normandy invasion, in World War II as a P-47 fighter pilot with the 358th Fighter Squadron in Europe. He’s a Purple Heart recipient, and received the Distinguished Service Medal in 1970. After his retirement from the military in 1978, Manor represented the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the United States Pacific Command as the senior military negotiator and advisor to the US Ambassador to the Philippines.
“We’re not only honored that LeRoy Manor has chosen eight American Coach products to be companions along his journeys, we’re humbled to count among our owners such an esteemed military veteran,” states John Draheim, Chief Executive Officer, President, Fleetwood & American Coach. “We thank LeRoy for his years of service to our great country and for his incredible loyalty to the American Coach brand.”
